    Time Bank Mahoning Watershed
                           announces five 'time bank' jobs

    The Time Bank Mahoning Watershed is pleased to announce the creation of five new management positions: marketing manager, Facebook administrator, events manager, community weaver, and training manager.

    The part-time positions will be compensated in spendable time bank hour credits.

    The Time Bank Mahoning Watershed consists of individuals, organizations and businesses that receive and provide services to each other in return for service exchange time credits.

    Each hour of service is worth one time bank hour of credit, without regard to the service provided.

    “Time banking works by releasing and facilitating the exchange of skills, abilities, talents and experience given within a community. As service exchanges occur, the outcomes for members are personal and social growth,” says Tony Budak, the coordinator of the Time Bank Mahoning Watershed. “Our Time Bank community aims to strengthen Civil Society by valuing work done by our members as Active Citizens.”

    Budak continued, "If you're currently looking for employment, taking one of these 'volunteer' positions at the Time Bank would be useful for your resume. And, if you're retired and looking for something worthwhile to do, you'll get spendable time bank compensation for your contribution."

    The Time Bank Mahoning Watershed is a community benefit 501 (c) (3) organization that began in December, 2008 and currently has 130 members with a wide variety of skills and abilities.
