Training Manager

Training Manager

Responsibilities

  • Create training programs to instruct individuals, businesses and organizations on how to use the time bank and time bank software
  • Deliver training programs – in-person workshops, online webinars, one-on-one training
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Facebook Administrator to publicize training programs
  • Work with the Events Manager to organize in-person events
  • Locate a team of willing volunteers to assist you with your efforts

Time requirements

Approximately 10 hours per month, paid in time dollars.

Skills

  • You know how to use the time bank software as a power user, or are willing to put in the time to do so.
  • You’re a good teacher and know how to create and deliver fun and interesting educational programs
  • You’re good at speaking in front of a group
  • You know how to deliver webinars, or are a quick study at training yourself how to do this.

Facebook Administrator

Facebook Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Administrate the Timebank page and group on Facebook
  • Work with the Marketing Manager, Training Manager and Events Manager to develop post content
  • Locate a team of willing volunteers to assist you with your efforts

Time requirements

Approximately 5 hours per month, paid in time dollars. (You’ll be posting status updates 5-7 times per week)

Skills

  • Know and like using Facebook
  • Some understanding of how to use Facebook to build “likes” and create conversation
  • Good computer skills

Community Weaver

Community / Conversation Weaver

Responsibilities

  • The membership weaver has three main tasks – member orientation, keeping in touch, and match making.

o    The person who takes on this role is the classic people person. They love to get to know people's stories and people often end up being surprised how much they shared.

o    They intuitively grasp people's best qualities and aren't picky about (or blind to) people's foibles. They also have a good sense of who will like each other.

o    They are asset mappers. They enjoy helping people find their skills and matching them with others who need them.

  • You engage members in quality conversation about sharing a common purpose, place, and perspective. Building up the quality of these connections means building community.
  • Locate a team of willing volunteers to assist you with your efforts

Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a marketing plan and campaigns to
    • promote the time bank to area individuals, businesses, and organizations
    • get current time bank members to use the Time Bank more frequently
  • Work with the Events Manager, Training Manager and Facebook Administrator to publicize events
  • Locate a team of willing volunteers to assist you with your efforts

Time requirements

Approximately 10 hours per month, paid in time dollars.

Skills

  • Good computer skills, and the ability to learn new applications fast.
  • Some familiarity with marketing techniques: planning, implementation, analytics. (otherwise you’re a really quick learner and can teach yourself what you need to know)
  • Public speaking skills a plus, but not mandatory
